Sakej Ward: Defining Warrior Societies
by Radio Warrior, Published Youtube on Feb 14, 2014
Sakej Ward in his video presentation defines a Warrior’s responsibility, is to look after his people and the land, preparing it for the next seven generations. Sakej states that warriors have a sacred responsibility to manage the land and that nature is taken care of, but when there is a threat that will impact everything around you somebody needs to stand up, and it is the responsibility of these warriors to take action.

When land claims are now discussed only crown land is discussed. Perhaps we should be discussing all land. Housing is becoming more unaffordable to both native and unnative. We all will become tenants within a few decades if current trends continue. Maybe all land should be held in trust by natives so we might develop a more sustainable economy that is within environmental limits. Sincerely, Pat. 604-594-9508.
