Indigenous land defenders block LNG Terminal Construction

subMedia.tv has obtained exclusive footage of indigenous land defenders, blocking energy company Petronas from building a liquified natural gas terminal on Lelu Island. Members of the Lax Kw’alaams First Nation say that Lelu Island and the banks surrounding it, are an essential habitat for migrating juvenile fish and other shellfish. They have made a call for physical and financial support so that they can keep Petronas out of their territories. To help them out visit bit.ly/leluisland
