NW Coast Knife 6

Field Museum of Natural History, located in Chicago, Illinois, The outside two knives are of Tlingit design. The one on the left is made of iron and has a face representing a dogfish shark. The far right dagger looks to also be made of metal but has just a faint design.

The second dagger from the left was made of bone by a Kwakiutl person. It too has a dogfish shark design, although the eyes on this one are a bit more convincing.

The middle dagger and the one to the right of it are both made by Haida people and may be made of stone and bone respectively. The middle dagger belonged to Chief Moses, who lived in eastern Washington up to the end of the 19th century when he passed away. The whitish dagger has carved on it two ravens, a man, and a dogfish.
