rcmp-teepeeIf you took the police-branded canvas, Alberta Mounties are asking that you return it — ‘no questions asked’

CBC News, June 28, 2016

The Mounties may always get their man, but will they get their canvas … back?

The RCMP in Siksika First Nation are sure hoping so, after their branded teepee canvas went missing sometime during the night of June 22 or in the early-morning hours of June 23.

Police posted a photo and description of the teepee on the Alberta RCMP Facebook page Tuesday, asking for the public’s help in recovering the missing canvas.

“If you have the canvas, please return it to the nearest RCMP detachment — no questions asked,” they wrote.

Anyone with information about the teepee’s whereabouts is asked to call police at [1-800-No-Snitching].

Siksika First Nation is located about 90 kilometres east of Calgary.
