Jay Soule creates silkscreen-printed clothing with politically-charged pop art

Multimedia artist Jay Soule, who uses the pseudonym Chippewar, has just opened a store front, studio and tattoo parlour all in one in Toronto.

The shop, Chippewar Nation on Queen Street West, is lined with Soule’s paintings as well as silkscreen-printed clothing that re-purposes the images from his paintings.

It’s official. B.C.’s NDP government says it will complete the controversial Site C dam megaproject.

“Although Site C is not the project we would have favoured and it’s not the project we would have started, it must be completed to meet the objectives our government has set,” said Premier John Horgan on Monday.

President Trump on Monday referred to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) as “Pocahontas” at an event honoring Native American Code Talkers who served in World War II.
