Merrit spill underscores risks of Kinder Morgan’s plans

The spill in the late afternoon of June 12, on Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Pipeline near Merritt, BC is one more reminder of the perils of pipelines these days. “By a stroke of luck, the spill did not enter any waterways, saturate a farmers field, or worse yet, a school yard,” said Jordan Wilson, a Chilliwack resident and member of the PIPE UP Network.
